Our first full night of camping with hook-ups was a success. Since Carlos (the motorhome) lives and tours Florida, the furnace had never been used. I'm happy to say that it works. We were warm and snug inside as it dropped to 39 degrees out there.
Camping just makes me smile. Walking with Chloe to the showers this morning in the crisp early-morning air = Happy Pam.
So, I keep hearing about the roads...
"Why can't Vermont have roads like this?"
I don't notice that kind of stuff quite as much, but with all the jostling and rattling that happens as this rig makes its way around, I have to agree that we are traveling on some pretty smooth surfaces.
We had a hunter's breakfast at a little restaurant in town.

Got the latest happenings from the TV piping out FOX news while being stared down by various stuffed animals including a moose head, a bobcat and a coyote. The homemade rye bread was delicious. Sam learned the hard way that one item on the menu was grossly misrepresented. The tangy white stuff on his breakfast sandwich was most certainly not mayonnaise.
